When installing the power-max converter does the negative battery wire also attach to the shunt? Or do I wire the Converter directly to the Battery terminal?

Hi,
if you want to be able to measure the current and power your converter is using, you have to connect the negative wire to the shunt.
Otherwise this would not be possible.
