Bluesolar mppt 100/50 output limit

Hi I am looking to install a Bluesolar 100/50 with bluetooth dongle with 2 x 300w Jinko panels. Just wondering if the output is limited to 50amps or is there the possibility of a fuse blowing if the input spikes for any reason and tries to exceed 50amps on the output. Thank you

The output is limited to 50A. Even if you put too much PV power in to the MPPT, it will be limited to 50A output.

Hi. Rest easy, it'll be fine.

The only way you could break it is to exceed the 100V input limit. If you series-wire the panels, just check the Voc rating from the sticker on the back. Might be 40V or so, so pretty safe to do that. Cold weather could increase that a little, but that'd be a fair margin to install that way.

If you had 3x of those panels you'd have to parallel-wire them. Into 12V that'd be ok too.
