Hi.
I just bought a small SmartMPPT 75/15. It works well, but I notice it is preset for " Victron deep cycle" and I have a "regular" (probably AGM) 65Ah VW car battery. I understand from this post that charge voltages do not vary much, but I worry about the discharge load cut-off.
Any advise on the settings, all of them, but mostly the discharge voltage?

Best to locate any information for your battery from the manufacturer.
14.4V absorp
13.6V float
10.5V cut-off (pretty much standard for all FLA/AGM batteries)
You should attempt to never discharge more than 50% of the battery capacity, or the life will be substantially reduced. A typical battery that may last 300-500 cycles of full depth discharges will see 2000+ if you limit it to 50%.
