Preparing to install BVM-712 with ASS000100000 Temperatore Sensor

It appears to me, when the BVM-712 is used with the BVM-702 temperature sensor (ASS000100000), the separate "positive supply cable" is not installed. Am I correct? Has anyone completed this installation with favorable results? Thank you in advance for all comments/suggestions.

Correct, you don't connect the separate positive wire because the red wire of the temperature sensor takes its place.

This took me a few minutes to figure out as well. I kept looking for the missing third connection until I realized it was 'extra'.

Awesome addition. May I suggest you then create a wireless VE Network for comms (using VictronConnect app) with a Victron SmartSolar MPPT*, so it has live voltage and temperature data for automatic compensation throughout the day - providing a much higher level of performance and protection for the battery bank.

* BlueSolar MPPT will need Bluetooth dongle.
