Multiplus II temperature & performance

Hi community,

I have got 6x multiplus 2 3000. Every day when the sun is shining fully (no clouds) my multiplus start to decrease their performance when 13200w are surpassed. (thats approx 2200w per device)

The performance decreases till it reaches 12400w (approx 2066w per device)

Temperature in the room is about 23 degrees, so I don't think this is the reason.
Any other ideas?

The maximum continuous output power of 2400W you only get at 25°C internal device temperature.
So if you have a room temperature of around 23°C and the Multis running at full load the whole day than the internal device temperature increases and the maximum continuous output power decreases.

Oh dear! So no one reaches the 2400w as 25c internal is only possible in really cold surroundings...

Is there any way to show/read the internal temperature of the Multiplusses?

Edit: Furthermore I just saw that the maximum apparent feed in power is 2500VA....

Well 3x 24/8000 would have been a better idea, more power and less powerloss, but more expensive. My Multiplus II 24/3000 delivers more than 2400 watt for at least 30 minutes in 30c ambient, i am not complaining but when under constant load apparently the temperature rises.

Hi,

In the meantime i moved to 6x5000 (due to PV-extention) but had the same troubles.Last summer i switched to 3x10.000 as they have dual-fans, and hey, that seems to be ok now.

Conclusion is that in warm room temperatures you have to plan with 80% Performance.
