Combining new model lifpo4 batteries with old model

I have 2 smart 12,7 volt lifpo4 batteries and want to expand my bank with 2 more. Victron has launched a new model of 200 amp batteries. So the new and old batteries are not the same model any more, but same amp ands same voltage. Can I combine these batteries?

Hi @Anders Landro

Like with all batteries It is not recommended to combine batteries of different age and specification.

When the load and charge currents are relatively low, it might work ok...so when the loads don't increase over the current setup, it could be ok. Please monitor for differences in temperature in all batteries to make sure.
