VE Config for phoenix multiplus 12/2500/120

I've got a Victron Phoenix Multiplus 12/2500/120 inverter/charger in my narrowboat. It seems that the more recent/popular 12/3000/120 can use the remote software.


Will the 2500 work with veconfig so I can adjust the settings via my laptop (win10)? I know it only has one connector (RS232?) for the remote control panel so assume I could use this to make any adjustments?

Hi Mark,

The first thing to do is get the firmware file number installed in your MultiPlus. And then with that number in hand look at

Section ‘software for old devices’.


I’m not 100% sure if that will work on Windows 10; you’ll have to try to find out I’m afraid.
