Best option for AC to DC power input for a Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-Volt 18 amp 220-Watt DC-DC

I Have a small 12AH battery that runs network gear.

I have the battery connected to a Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-Volt 18 amp 220-Watt DC-DC.

It gets Charged off 12v battery / alternator when on the road but want the option to plug into AC as well.

Total draw when running the hardware is less then 5a. Typically under 100w.

I have tried running a 12v meanwell 200w constant voltage power supply into the Orion-tr to charge but when I do this it always trips and loops on and off. it will start to charge and then voltage drops out and it will shut off charging. I am guessing this is because the Orion-tr is trying to pull to many amps out of the charger and it is getting tripped.

What are some better options to charge at lower amps that wont trip?

My space is limited.

The correct way to do this would be to just install an AC-to-DC charger on the battery bank in parallel with the DC-DC charger.
The IP65 12/5A charger, or a similar model, would work well for that.
