Pylontech isolation

Hi,

I am wondering if the built-in isolation of Pylontech modules is sufficient for a system with 4 Pylontech US5000 modules. I'll use a Lynx Distributor to connect the 4 modules to a busbar. I intended to add NH1 250A fuses so all the modules can be isolated in one go. However the Victron example wiring diagram suggests it is not necessary to add those. Any suggestions?

thanks,
Jan

The Victron drawings are not gospel, just some ideas on product use and setup. There are other factors like local regulations that need to be taken into account.

If there are no regulations in place then good safety is always a must anyway.

The basic principles in setup should include a way to isolate and fuse. The NH fuse disconnects do both, but they don't combine without daisy chaining, which is not really best practice in some setups, hence the use of your distributor.
