Keep batteries at current SOC

Im looking for an option to keep the batteries at the current SOC for some time in ESS. I would like to be able to achieve this trough Node-RED. These are some of the ideas i came trough but i did not yet find the perfect way:

* Set the charge and discharge current both to 0A (is this possible? Does overvoltage feed in then work?)

* Make some sort of Battery setpoint in stead of grid setpoint (maybe this is the best way by to change the ESS type? Is this possible trough Node-RED without rebooting etc?)

What are your toughts?
