Does Victron plan to support the AS923 frequency with it's LoRaWan product

As a Victron distributor here in NZ we have an IoT company who have numerous opportunities to make use of the Victron LoRaWAN gateway via the Spark NZ network. Using the Spark Network would mean that the Victron LoRaWAN gateway would need to support and work on the AS923 frequency. Does Victron plan to make any adjustments to the LoRaWAN product so that it can work on the AS923 frequency? Future sales would be into the many 100's and that just the tip of the iceberg.

Hi @Alistair Jeffcoat,

We do not support the TTN AS923 frequency for Australia, only AU915. There is no support for private networks.

The only supported network is "The Things Network" - which is public, and may require setting up your own gateway.

There are no plans further develop the LoRaWan product, however if you think you have a commercially significant opportunity I would suggest you get in touch with Victron New Zealand Sales manager - As that would be the first step to that changing.
