24/24 17amp what input fuse size

Have a 24/24 17 now its fes from a 100amp generator/alternator should it have a fuse on the imput cant find anywhere that says so or size.

up to you what size fuse you put - you should put a fuse at the begining of the cable run to protect the wire going to the unit from damage incase of a short

The fuse is for protecting the cable, so you should choose a fuse size that is suitable for the cable that you are using.
