Can load out handle shore power in?

100/20 model. My 1980 toyota will charge the battery when pluged into sure power. Allso powers the load. Same wire. Will this kill it? Relay or off switch?

40 years ago we did not have the batts we do today. Or the smart chargers.

It does not have a relay, it has a MOSFET to drive the load output. It will not be able to charge or accept power in via the load output terminals.
