We have multiple pylontech batteries that never ridge float state and the BMS always report 99% charged. It jump between charging/discharging and never get to a state where it float.
It's in an backup system and setting have been confirmed as per Victron guide for the Pylontech.
Hi Willem, In Regards to your post, we would need a full list of how your site is configured and what charge voltages have been set.
a detailed list of all components and if posable a wiring diagram of the site,
its not posable to give you any answers with the information you have supplied.
Hi Paul. Standard configured as a backup system with 3 battery modules.
No rocket science to connect and also not my first system.

Settings is as per Victron guide. As mentioned above
Set 51.70V Absorption and 51.00v for Float. If you want to go for battery life expansion, set 51.60V Absorption. Last adjustment results in about 90% battery load only, just to give an idea.
This may vary a little bit due to the age and use of the battery stack.
Never charge a Pylontech US2000 on Victron defaults! Way to high default voltages.
