Upower batteries

Good morning,

I've a question. Pylontech batteries (US2000, US3000, US5000) are compatible with victron ESS systems as I know. There are batteries from Upower that are identical in construction to the Pylontech ones (UE-48Li2400V2, UE-48Li3600V2). What about the battery Upower UE-48Li100-3U? Is it compatible with victron too?

Best regards!

If the specific manufacturer and model isn't listed on the compatibility site then you are on your own, it's up to the supplier to help and support you.

Doesn't mean it won't work though.

I tried the Upower UE-48Li100-3U, but connection via CAN and cable type A does not work. Tried it with a self-assenbled type B and no success either. The other batteries should work.

Type B does work and it is detected as Pylontech Battery. You need however to switch the first DIP to on.
