Single panel vs dual panels

Hi,

I've just purchased and installed various Victron chargers into my motorhome and am now looking to upgrade the single 120 watt Solar panel it shipped with. I have a 75/15 MPPT. My question is, would I be better to purchase a single 200 watt panel, or 2 X 100 watt panels, but connect these in series so that I can benefit from the higher voltage produced to enable the charger to trigger the required +5 volts sooner, thus letting the charge start earlier in the day and also continue later in the day)?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Whether you go single or double is really up to you. Think about how much space you have up there and any future plans to expand.
Series connection of two panels would be preferable for the reason that you mentioned and also to reduce cable losses between the panels and the MPPT.
