I have a Victron dc dc charger as follows:

Orion-Tr Smart 12/12 30A ISOLATED DC-DC Charger

Just wondering why I get these screens showing whilst I am driving

Thankyou

Probably the settings. Please post a screen shot of the settings from the cog icon.

And how is it wired?

12.8V is pretty low for starter battery / alternator voltage if the engine is running. What kind of alternator do you have?

By default the engine shutdown detection enables charging when voltage is >13.8V, and stops it when dropping below 13.5V.

You might also want to check the wiring to the Orion. Is it thick enough and connected properly? There could be some voltage drop there.

Yes, it's probably the shutdown voltage. Guessing there's a smart alternator, in which case 12.8V is not unusual.
