Smart Solar MPPT 100/30 Firmware 1.59. does not disable Text-Mode during HEX-Mode?

I send valid hex mode commands and get the response from it. The commands (get) are being sent in 200ms intervals. Other as stated in the documents, the MPPT controller does not disable the text commands.
