Hello, Is it possible to connect 2 sets to 1 octo gx. The project includes: -6 pcs. Quattro 48/10000 (3 phase) - 3 pcs. Multiplus II 48/5000 (3 phase) - 1 item. Octo gx 2 sets will be connected to one battery bank, 10 pcs. B-box and several smartsolar mppt. If you can, how will the remote panel on the vrm page read this? Thank you for your help, Regards MJ.
It's not possible to have more than one VE.Bus system per Venus device.
It is possible to connect another VE.Bus system using a MK3 to USB dongle, but functionality will be limited and only the system connected to the native VE.Bus port on the OctoGX will report to VRM.
The proper way to monitor two systems is for each system to have their own Venus device.
I don't know if a single BYD battery bank system can be connected to two different Venus devices. Being CANBus, in theory yes, but I really do not know. Maybe someone else knows this.
