Specifically, the user needs the ability to disable "repeat absorption" on Victron Chargers when using LiFePO4 batteries. Repeat absorption is a lead-acid battery requirement to mitigate sulfation. It is completely inappropriate for lithium batteries. There currently is no way to turn it off. It can only be set to repeat every 45 days maximum.
Quite a lot of the chargers can set the battery type to LiFePO4. Would help to say what device you're experiencing the problem with and what firmware version it's on.
IP 22 | 30 (3). I can't access the charge now (it's 6,000 miles away) but the Demo Library in Victron Connect with the most recent revision (v5.47) behaves the same as the charger.
Yes, you can select "Li-ion" as a charge preset, but then the "Repeated absorption" setting under that profile is set to "7" days, and using Expert Mode, it can't be disabled and can be set to a maximum of 45 days.
