Multiplus Compact 24/2000 configuration

Is it necessary to configure the Multiplus Compact 2000 with the CCGX and the VE.Configure 3 software during the initial setup, or are the DIP switches sufficient for a simple configuration?

It depends on that you want to achieve.

If you have a gx though you can program over the VRM.
