should soc stop discharge set by gridsetpoint?

I am using gridsetpoint to discharge my battery to grid. I set min SOC at 30% to shut the discharge down . I also had the discharge under timed control. I saw the SOC get to 29.2% before the discharge was stopped by the timer. Is this expected or should discharge be stopped at 30% ?

The manual seems to indicate that there would be a 5% leeway on the minSOC value. So tonight I set the MinSOC at 35%. During the discharge the value got to 34% and then the system changed the Grid setpoint to eliminate discharge.
