I have a bmv 712 smart connected with mppt 150/35 smart solar through the eviction app by wifi. I have installed a victory venue which is connected to my main wifi but cannot link the bmv or the mppt to the vrm. On the eviction app it can see all three items but I cannot get them all to link so I can see them on the vrm.
Hi AJ. Stepping up to VRM is a little more involved than just linking the kit locally. You'll likely need a GX box or suchlike to do that:

Reading from the portal can be done any-ole-way, but uploading the data is another issue. Your choice whether or not to make the investment..
The BMV and the MPPT need to connect to the Venus with wires, specifically VE.Direct cables.

The BMV and MPPT do not connect to the Venus over Bluetooth, WiFi or any other wireless technology, only with cables.
