At the moment I charge a battery in my caravan via a Orion Tr-Smart 12/12-18 dc/dc charger via my car so it charges as I drive. (The charger is in the caravan). What I would like to know is can I plug my portable 12v regulated solar panel into the caravan anderson plug (which normally is plugged into the to car plug to accept charge from the car) to charge up the battery via the dc/dc charger when the caravan is stationery. I understand I can do it directly to battery via solar panel but means running another socket and cable. Thanks for Help
