Install a second ESS system before an existing Victron ESS system

ess-with-multiplus-ii.jpg

Would it work to integrate a 2nd ESS system which is highlighted here in light blue to compensate for the control fluctuations? Would that work or what would happen if you install it like this?
Just an idea, because I still have a complete system standing around here.
Thanks for the answers to this stupid question

No, it doesn't work that way.

The ESS control loops of the first and second ESS systems would stimulate one another and everything would get worse, not better.

Situation 500 watts are missing

ESS 1: I make 500 watts

ESS 2: I make 500 watts

Now there are 500 watts too much

ESS 1: ok, then I make 0 Watt

ESS 2: ok, then I make 0 Watt

Now it is 500 watts too little

Thank you, you have explained well for me not to do that.

Sometimes you have an idea, but the effects would be worse than before.

I thought that the superior ESS only gets the missing data of the existing Victron ESS.

But all makes sence now

The scenario described is an extreme, admittedly.

My ESS runs on grid setpoint 20 watts. With that, I usually draw a little bit, which I do on average during the night anyway. But I don't waste power to the grid unless there is a solar surplus.
