Pylontech DVCC Limiting Charge current to 12.5Amp @ 18°C

Disappointed to see a supposed CCL of 148Amp on 4 x Pylontech US3000C limited to 50Amps with batteries at 18°C - 19°C It says in the manual Here that it should charge to the CCL limit which is controlled by DVCC but this is not my experience with a MultiPlus 5kW and 7kW generator. Is there a problem with this paragraph in the manual or something wrong with my installation?

"You can confirm if this is affecting your installation be entering the Pylontech Battery menu on your GX device, and then the Parameters Menu. This will report the Charge Current Limit (CCL) and Discharge Current Limit (DCL). "

@Jon_Lowbank

There are many other settings that affect charge current.

What is your input current limit set at?

And what is the grid charge current on the inverter set at? Usually this is set to 50A or 70A as you are seeing.

Do you have weak AC enabled?

The input current limit should be set at around 35 or 40A to achieve the charging amps you are looking for. With no loads on. However your generator may not be able to do it.

7kw is around 5600W with a PF of 0.8. usually they only like being loaded at 80% continuously because of heat. But if you want to work it alot set a 24A input current limit.

Still check the charge tab setting though on the inverter.

Thanks for your reply Alexandra

Input current limit from AC is set at 25Amps. if I put on more AC load Generator input will go up I saw 6kW max but battery charge current will not go above 2500wats regardless of AC load.

Yes I have weak AC enabled but as you can from screen shots it is not weak.
