wich solar panels fit with the Multiplus2 48V5000 and 250/100 MPPT

Hello,

I'm planning right now my Solar System with a Multiplus 2 48/5000 and a 250/100 MPPT.

Victron Venus GX and EM 24 is already running since last week .

what kinda Solar panels should i use for the Setup ? to get the most out of the System.

i have plenty of space on the roof but i want to keep the used space for the module to a minimum

the module are facing south west direction without any shade

100A @ 48V will give you an output limit of 4.8kW for your charger. With modules of 400 - 450W, this would look like up to 10 - 12 modules. Modules of this size tend to run with about 48 - 49V Voc, so subject to your minimum temperature which increases Voc, you can run 5 modules in series. This will give you the most efficient use of space and smallest cable size.
