Wrong Image flashed on EasySolar-II GX (nano pi)

I community,

Unfortunately, I flashed an Einstein image onto a Nano Pi. Logically, that doesn’t work.

I did follow the instructions in this article to reinstall the venus os. On the USB stick ist the correct FW.

Does any one know what I need to do to get the nano pi booting from the USB?

Thanks in advance!

How did you managed to flash the wrong image?
Updating normally is done via the GUI and it should be impossible that the Venus OS accepts a wrong file and starts installing it.

For the method described there at 19.2. you need a micoSD card and insert that into the microSD slot.
At the EasySolar you have to open the front panel (carefully there is a ribbon cable connected to the display) because the slot is only accessible from the inside.

Hi @M_Lange

Thanks for your fast reply. I did do it via ssh console. The reason I did was that the FW on the device was quiet old. From Top of my head: 2.83 and something behind. And it was not an Beta image. And through the GUI the update did not work. I tried it severl times.

My mistake was that I did use an einstein image instead of the nano pi images. Usually we work with Cerbo GX devices.

I did follow the steps and it works! Thanks a lot for your help! I did not find this page before. Sorry for that.
