Where is Node-Red gone in Venus 3.60?

Venus 3.60 installed.
Node-Red no longer visible.

Cannot find Node-Red in the Settings Menu.
Modbus is still active and visible.
Anyone knows where it has been moved to please?

There seems to be an issue, I will report it.

Leave it on that page for a while. Mine did the same, but it did appear after 30 or 40 seconds. See if yours does the same.

Thanks, it has been on that page for a while now, perhaps rebooting?
I won’t touch it until I hear from the experts.

Hi,

Node Red present & working OK on my systems (Venus, Cerbo MKI & MKII & Ekrano) all updated to 3.60 today.

Xabi.

If you just upgraded it can take a while to sort itself out.
After a while, sometimes a reboot will resolve it.
Mine seem ok now.

I upgraded 24 hr ago and I had a feeling this could have happened so I was holding my breath.
After a while the message “Node Red service not running” disappeared but still no sign of it.

Just do a reboot and see if it resolves.
Was your previous version 3.55?

It was 5.xx possibly 5.45 if it ever existed, or maybe 5.55, I’ll have to check if I have mande a note of it

However I don’t understand this

That is just a check for support to confirm if OS mods are loaded. Often support is logged and this isn’t mentioned, so it helps with troubleshooting.
I just have the large image loaded so it isn’t flagged.
There were some big changes and mods can break things, so check git and be sure that the mods you have are up to date.

  1. Not sure where or hae to chech that
  2. The settings manue has totally been rearranged so, as per my original questio, whew should I find the Node-Red “ON/OFF” swithc now please?

Under integrations.
Mods aren’t done via the gui, it is done via ssh.
You can reset the device in the same modifications menu, preserving other settings.

Hi !

Xabi

That is where I was looking for but it does not appear to be there

Never before! There was a simple Node-Red “on/Off” in the menu

I never had to use SSH other than for errors with USB communications

I know this is a dumb question, but you did upgrade to the large image because if you are on standard image then there will be no Node-RED.

It’s not a dumb question because I’m not sure there was a choice between Large or Standard image, I simply followed the latest update.
Nobody, so far, has enlighten me about what could have happened after the update.
I can see that I can change to Large now, but I’m not sure that my Node-Red settings will be restored

What hardware device is this?
The device is flagged as modified, so something is off.

I can not say why you lost large image but if you download large image you may recover your Node-RED, I have gone large - standard - large before.

You could always try and revert to previous firmware first and see if you recover then export your Node-RED and redo v3.60. I always export a copy of Node-RED flows after any changes.
