If I just want an alarm if my Cerbo can’t reach VRM for 2 minutes (the Cerbo is set to log data to VRM every 5 minutes; I don’t want to change that), how do I go about that?
I’m familiar with the system as I have several working alarms but I can’t figure that out.
Aiui comms loss is one of the default vrm alarms, if you have disabled the default alarms it shouldn’t be too difficult to enable it again.
Not something I have dug into but one of my sites seems to regularly raise a flag when the local network is down.
You are likely right because I believe I have ever got such an alarm but I didn’t study the details and it rarely happens. Do you know if you can set up an alarm different from the logging time or do you have to change the logging time?
My logging time is 5 mins but I want to set up another alarm that is raised immediately after 2 minutes of no contact for a separate application.
Default alarm option, loss of comms, you can set it for as low as 60 secsin excess of the logging interval as a minimum in VRM.
It can not alarm at less than the logging interval because VRM does not maintain real time connection if you do not have VRM open, it only waits for pushed messages with the routine data in.
