VM-3P75CT via ethernet to Cerbo GX not seen by Multi RS Solar (3-phase)

Installed a 3-phase Multi RS Solar system with 30kW batteries. I finished the configuration of all parameters of the batteries and the Cerbo, Multi RS Solar in 3-phase configuration, Lynx Shunt and the VM-3P75CT via ethernet. On VRM and the Cerbo GX I get a good overview of the total system. However, if I enable the energy meter support, the Multi RS Solar tells me that the meter is missing. Somehow, the Cerbo GX is not publishing the metering values on the VE.CAN 1 bus where the Multi RS Solar is connected. I followed the chapter connecting an external meter ( 4. Installation ). Tried a lot of different settings. All firmware is up-to-date. For the Cerbo GX I installed the latest large beta version. I really do not know what I am missing. The picture below shows that the external meter pops up correctly in the VRM (or Cerbo GX information) and show the values from my grid connection at home.

In the figure below you see the message that the external meter is missing.

@macsnoeren Firstly I’d suggest reverting to the latest official firmware and not Beta, let alone with the large image unless you are planning to use Node-red. You need a solid baseline. If you are running ESS, make sure to select the correct metering. Also, what speed is the Multiplus RS’s VE.Can port set to? Interestingly the meter appear to have been visible but then lost contact. What has changed or was done at that time?

Thanks for your answer. I will revert back to the stable firmware, however I started with that, so one of the tries was to use the beta version  . At the Cerbo GX the metering is read using ethernet Modbus, so that is fine. In the Cerbo GX I do not have the same settings as in your image, see image below.

As the Cerbo GX suggest, I show what I see at the Multi RS Solar (Unit L1) what I can set on ESS mode, see image below. This setting should also start to charge the batteries but that is also not happeing. So many weird things happen that I do not understand. All the information from the BMS, Multi RS solar (3x), Lynx Shunt and Metering (ethernet connected) is correctly read by the Cerbo GX, but the Multi RS Solar is not receiving the Metering data itself. While the manual tells me that should be. What could I try?

I found the solution. Somehow I had the wrong number in the system instance. While I have a 3-phase system, I also put here 3, why I do not know. Changed it to 0. And all information is now correctly shared.

I also do not get any error anymore that the grid meter cannot be found. See image below that all data comes through.

However, the system is still not charging, but that will be a different topic. Thanks for your input.
