VM-3P75 CTs too small

Is there any possibility to get bigger CTs for the VM-3P75 energy meter?

I can´t work with an EM530 in this case because i just have Ethernet for the energy meter.

This will not work. You have to use a single wire and not the complete cable with L, N and Gnd

This is single wire. There are 3 of them on a 63A Fuse.

You need to strip the YMVK cable i.e. remove the gray outer insulation and put the CT clamp over the brown wire (which sometimes is black by the way) as shown here:

Also. You may need the usual grey conduit, properly secured to the wall like every 30-50CM (depending on the orientation).

Note: do NOT strip the brown/black wire!

Currently there are no other CTs available but as far as I know there is something in development.

I can´t strip anything here. Thats a three phase System. I have 5 of this cables. Grey, black and brown are L1, L2 and L3. Every single cable is too big to get a CT on it.

Danke Matthias. Also aktuell keine Chance das mit den VM3P75 auszuführen. Das stellt mich vor große Probleme

Aha. Ok. Sorry. Was still early for me. We here are used to the grey multi-core cables. Also used for 3 phase systems. Like 5 x 6 mm² or 5 x 16 mm²

You could use an Ethernet to RS485 converter but I’m not sure if the GX would properly recognize the meter in that case.
If there’s an option for the Ethernet cable to be patched through to the GX, you could run RS485 over it.

Maybe press the wire flat a bit, so it becomes more oval instead of round ?

As a last option, if the cable is just a tiny little bit too wide for the current clamp, would be to cut away the inner plastic of the current clamp.
This would obviously void the warranty of course.
