VM-3P75CT, wiring size

Folks,

I recently got a full ESS system, based on 3k48v MultiPlus 2. The kits also includes the VM-3P75CT energy meeting and the drawing shows to use a small 500mA fuse for the blue wire (N).

Should I use normal AC (stiff / copper) wiring to connect the VM-3P75CT to the electricity cabinet or use thinner wire as it only measures? The same for the (N) and it’s fuse.

See the manual: https://www.victronenergy.com/upload/documents/Energy_Meter_VM-3P75CT_Manual/155987-Victron_VM-3P75CT_Energy_Meter-pdf-en.pdf

Wires are used to measure actual voltage and frequency on grid. No actual load (only the power that the meter uses itself) will be on wires. You can use 1-1.5mm2 wires, you will be limited in size by connectors on the meter, use any that can handle 500mA. Fuse and switch are used to protect the device and your wires from device (if it will burn or so).
