Victron Orion TR Smart non-isolated DC to DC charger 12-12- 30 Amp making weird static/buzzing sound

My Victron Orion TR Smart non-isolated dc to dc charger 12-12- 30 Amp making loud weird static/buzzing sound. even when the Orion DC to DC charge is turned off, meaning the vehicle (Ram Promaster) is not running (the alternator is not running). The Orion TR Smart DC to DC charger still operates as intended and still charges the house batteries when the vehicle engine is running the the Orion DC to DC charger is turned on, but it makes a loud weird static/buzzing sound like it is trying to communicate with aliens. It not a old school dial up modem sound but close, more static & buzzy. The Orion has been installed for several years and has very use because we larger charge with solar, but on a recent winter trip we used it much more than ever due to cloudy days and short daylight hours.

Has anyone else run into this issue? It is right under my bed and the noise is non-stop, regardless if the Orion DC to DC charger is being utilized or not. All the connections appear to be tight. Any suggestions are welcome.

And you sure there are no loose connections? And heat?

LX Thanks for your reply. No loose connections, I just double checked them and no heat on any of the three wires going to or coming from the Orion?

I think I might buy another one and see if that corrects the buzzing issue.

Apparently the buzzing sound was not the Orion TR-Smart DC to DC 12-12-30 charger after all. There was a Aquasana water filtration system which was installed right next to the Orion. The Aquasana Filter has a CR2450 battery in it, even though it is otherwise completely unpowered. The Aquasana water filter battery was going dead, once I replaced it the buzzing stopped. So it was completely not related to the Orion DC to DC charger, the sound was simply coming from the same area because the water filter was installed behind the Orion. Problem solved, thank you!
