Victron Direct 12/1600 doesn't start

Installed a Victron VE Direct 12/1600 on a boat. Replacing a Xantrex that worked perfectly. Just wanted the enhanced communication and Victron App. New inverter will not provide 120 volt output. Read 12.7 volts at the battery cable connections. Read close to zero at the NEMA 5-15 output. Green light is on. Bluetooth dongle powers up. Victron app is accessible and shows “inverting”. Yet no AC power. I created a support ticket but not response as yet. Any help from the community appreciated.

Other system details that might be relevant. Victron BMV 712. Been in service for a while, works fine. Cerbo GX, works fine. Victron MPPT 100/30 charges batteries fine. Boat is currently connected to shore power, batteries at 100%. As mentioned I took reading at the inverter 's NEMA 5-15, measured something like 3 volts.

Can you confirm that you switched the the device to I-ON not II-ECO?

Yes. Tried both settings.

Never got anywhere with this problem. I did open a support ticket. Response was underwhelming to say the least. No helpful technical information.

I have received an RMA and will the product as defective.
