I have a Phoenix 12/500 inverter. This is connected to a Cerbo GX using a VE Direct cable.
When I connect a 100 watt load on the inverter and monitor the AC load via VRM it shows no AC load.
Please can anyone advise me as to why I cannot see a 100 watt AC load on the VRM?

Unfortunately not and it doesn’t show any AC load on the touch 50 attached to the Cerbo GX, the Phoenix Inverter appears in the device list and I can remotely turn it on and off, so there appears to be good communication between the Cerbo GX and the inverter.

FW all up to date ?
ever performed a restart ?
Can you see the inverter via Victron Connect?

All software upgrades to date on both inverter and the Cerbo GX. Whole system powered down, left for 2 mins, then restarted. Unfortunately still no change.

Yes original VE Direct cable and swapped cable for another one, still no change.
Have connected a Bluetooth dongle to the inverter and the AC load shows on Victron Connect

Do you have anything else running on the VE-Direct or just the Phoenix?
This is the first time I’ve heard of such problems
Maybe a broken VE-Direct Port … but you can turn the Inverter ON and OFF ? very strange

It’s a Phoenix 12/500 inverter only.
I can only see the AC load when I use the Bluetooth dongle and Victron Connect.
On the remote console the box labelled Inverter/ charger say inverting. The AC load box says 0W

All approximately 9 months old
I have exchanged the VE Direct cable. Fortunately I purchased a spare.
