Victron Connect V6.20 Fehlermeldung

Moin,

nach dem Update von Victron Connect V6.20 bekomme ich folgenden Fehler:

Kann das jemand bestätigen ? Ich möchte nur wissen, ob das jetzt ein Bug ist, oder mein PC spinnt.

Korrektur: da scheint bei Victron noch ein Verlinkungs-Fehler zu existieren:

Dort landet man, wenn man auf das Windows Symbol klickt auf: https://updates.victronenergy.com/feeds/VictronConnect/windows/w7/VictronConnectInstaller.exe

Der korrekte Link ist:

https://updates.victronenergy.com/feeds/VictronConnect/windows/w10/VictronConnectInstaller.exe

Das sollte ggf bei Victron mal jemand korrigieren.

Das Update sollte VC doch selbst herunterladen und installieren?

Ich habs mal an das Website Team weiter geleitet.

Nein. Das Update mußte ich von Hand machen. Ich habe den Hinweis auf das Update per E-Mail bekommen und insbesondere die sync Funktion für RS6000 kann ich gut gebrauchen:)

Also bei mir prüft VC bei jedem start ob es ein Update gibt und will dieses dann auch gleich herunterladen und installieren.
Der VicProf Newsletter hat damit ja nix zu tun, das ist halt nur ein Hinweis, das es eine neue Version gibt.

Klarer Fall von funktioniert wohl nicht immer. Auf meinem Notebook hat das auch funktioniert. Auf dem Desktop eben nicht. Wie dem auch sei: der Link kam aus der Mail und sollte dann auch stimmen. Insbesondere für Leute, die VC eben noch nicht installiert haben.

Yes both new installs and updates need to be flawless.

That link is wrong and will be corrected. The w7 link points to the last version that works on Windows 7. If you install that on Windows 10, it will update itself to a later (the last) version when you run it the first time

We checked what the issue could be that you had @Meine_Energiewende , and most likely you had a later version, and then installed that older version on top of it.

Solution is a clean install (of the newer version).

We’ll asap fix the link; and make sure its correct in emails as well.

Automatisches Update deaktiviert?

For me all links in the newsletter are working.
The problem is the link on the VC “product page” that is on the Windows logo.
