Victron 12/12 30 Orion Tr Smart Isolated not charging…

Help!
I have an isolated 12/12 30 isolated setup in a camper trailer.
It is plugged into a BT/50 Mazda (DMax).
It seemed to work when I installed it months ago.
Now, it will only continue to cycle through, “Charging Disabled” and then briefly “Charging Disabled Due To Remote Isolation Inactive” (or the phrase for “you have me switched off at the plug thingy”).
Plug is in - continuity checked.
Makes no difference to try a correct wire to either polarity of the plug input/output.
It will deliver power in “power supply” mode.
It is colder now than when installed (Australian cold, more than 10°c!).Cable run is overall maybe 8m. No huge voltage drop…
I have turned off the engine shutdown sensing and the cutout function, to rule them out.
Latest software.
Thoughts? Voltage drop under load??
Cheers?
David

Hi David, just wondering if you ever found a fix to your problem? I have exactly the same issue and can’t find a solution. Thanks, Dean

Hi Dean, Still a mystery however I have been told it’s working now. I sent it to be investigated and the dealer told me that it seems to be fine! By that time I’d bought another… and whilst I have the old one back, I’ve yet to test it. I wonder if leaving it disconnected for a long time allowed some capacitor to discharge or similar? Try leaving it disconnected for a week then test it?
Out of interest, was yours in humid/moist conditions?? Maybe mine had moisture and it dried in the mail - another possibility…

Hi David, Thanks for getting back to me. Sounds very strange. I dont have it in a humid enviroment and all the voltages are correct, so I am at a loss. Just sent a ticket to support so hope they have an answer. I have only seen another two poeple with the same problem online, but they dont have a solution either. If I find a answer, I’ll post it on this forum. Thanks again…
