when i set VRM Portal to Off - there is no logging anymore, no data records will be saved locally even with sd-card inserted, is this how it’s supposed to work?
If so, a warning message would be nice to tell the user that logging is disabled - not just only the upload to vrm…
Logging exists to update VRM in the event of a disconnect. With VRM disabled that there is no logging seems mostly, logical. To me anyway

That’s not what I said, the logging you are referring to is solely for VRM issues, so I can understand why it stops. It is more likely that other uses of logging hasn’t been considered. Maybe explain your use case, that is more likely to be helpful than sarcasm.
There are other ways to get that data of course in the interim.
