I have the same problem like Hans reported in November while trying to upload the file via VRM Portal which I modified in VE configure III before (added ESS assistant and modified some parameters). In my case, the file name did NOT differ from the downloded file name. What’s the problem here and how can it be solved?
There are a lot of people posting questions here, do you have a link to Hans his question you referring to ?
you have followed the manual like this: remote-veconfigure ?
i mean, do you have the full rights on the Cerbo to upload a file ?
Thanks for the link and the hint, I think so, but I will check it tomorrow morning and get back to you afterwards.
After an update via VRM you can’t upload a config file that you downloaded before the update.
During the update a config file is downloaded automatically an you have to use that file.
Problem solved! After updating the firmware of the Cerbo and the Multiplus II I have downloaded the current config file. And after the required modification for the correct settings for the Pytes battery the upload of the config file worked without problems!!
