Error mk2vsc-46 during upload in VRM Portal after using VEConfigure3

Hello everybody,

I have an issue updating the config of my MultiPlus-II.
I would like to add ESS feature to the MultiPlus-II.
But I get already some basic errors doing just download and upload.

My system is new and is very basic.
1 x MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-48 with firmware 552
1 x Gateway Cerbo GX MK2 wih firmware v3.52
2 x Pylontech battery BMS VRM instance 512
1 x EM24 grid energy meter firmware 1.8.3

Used Remote VEConfigure to download the MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 (com.victronenergy.vebus.ttyS4) config file.
Uploading the unchanged file again works.
Just opening the config file with VEConfigure3 (Version 90.04.239 and saving the file without changing something results in the error mk2vsc-46.

Do not know how to solve this.

Some options are :

  1. downgrading firmware MultiPlus-II
  2. Buy a serial device for the upgrade
  3. Keep searching in forums!

Anybody any suggestions on what to do?

Issue is solved by playing around with several VE Config files.
Think, but am not sure, that the (modified) uploaded filename should stay the same as the downloaded file!
