Update my 2016 Airstream International. Got rid of the 2 lead acid batteries, 120v/12v converter, ATS and 1000W inverter. Upgraded to 3000kVA/48V Quattro connected thru a T-class Power-In to a 4p-280 AH 12V battery bank with Victron battery balancers to maintain. Kept the 12V system active using 48|12-30 smart charger/converter hooked up to a 2s-100 AH 12V battery bank. Smart shunts monitor both systems and the whole thing is monitored and controlled with a Cerbo GX. Wired in two temperature controlled, 120mm computer fans to kick on if the Quattro gets too warm. Also installed Mopeka tank monitors that are monitored by the Victron system. Want to tackle the black, gray and fresh water tank monitoring next with Seelevel BLE upgrade. Hoping 3.73 has a solution for monitoring. After that I’ll be adding solar, with a similar panel set up as shown below.
1st RV electrical project and I learned a lot. Most of which is to realize there’s a LOT more to learn. I’m fortunate that I didn’t really mess up something and waste a bunch of money learning things the hard way. Many thanks to Gemini AI as well as the many blogs and You Tube videos that are available that got me through this far.
