Two Orion Tr DC-DC converters in parallel - only one delivering power

I have two Orion Tr 48/48 Dc/DC converter in parallel – both source and targets are large battery banks.

The problem is that randomly one or the other will delivery full 6A current, while the other idles - even though output voltage settings are will above the output battery bank stable level.

In a typical scenario, they are both seeing around 52V on the output, and were each adjusted to >53V output voltage (unloaded).

I’m stumped at why they would not just each deliver their full load capacity since they can’t “see” each other, and the output rail is 1V less than their setting…

We are turning them on simultaneously via remote input, but it make no difference if sequencing it. The first one will take the load, and 2nd will idle.

Is this perhaps a function of spikes generated by switching on the output lead, that make the 2nd unit back off? I did not have an oscillocope handy when I did the test on the customer site.
