Can someone assist, I replaced a damaged CCGX with a new one, and whilst busy adding the new one I got side tracked by the client and by accident added a new site instead of selecting the replace device option. Now the client has two sites one with the old history not active and the new site with the new CCGX but with no history.
How can I get this fixed?
You should be able to use the same steps as you would normally; the installation stores the history, not the device, so just log into the old installation, click “Add Installation” and scroll to the bottom to “Replace” and go from there: 14. Replacing a Victron GX device in VRM

quick question as I need to replace my CCGX as well: the replacement from the hardware side is pretty straightforward from what I read, simply unplugging the old device and then wiring the new one. Are there any pitfalls/problems you ran into from hardware side? Did your CCGX boot up directly and then detectring all the previously connected components?
I think the last part in the portal "(replace device ID-1 with device ID-2) is only about migrating the data as a last step then.

Just want to know whether there are any possible issues I could run into when replacing the CCGX or whether that is kind of straightforward operation…
