System design | single MP2 @ three phase Grid

Hi,

you have forgotten one system type …

Setup:

EasySolar-II 48/3000/35-32 MPPT 250/70 GX
PMP482306000

GX-Firmware-Version: v3.53
MP2-Firmware-Version: 508
MPPT-Firmware-Version: v1.64

Carlo Gavazzi EM540
Firmware-Version: 5123

Pytes E-BOX-48100R
Firmware-Version: v36.8

The GX device should actually subtract the power at the AC input of the MultiPlus from the power measured at the grid meter on phase L1 and display this difference in the AC loads for phase L1.

The measured power of the grid meter for phases L2 and L3 can be adopted.

There is also a bug in the ESS control algorithm.

As can be seen in the screenshot,
the ESS control algorithm pushes load into the grid even though the battery is not yet full.

Best regards
Marcus

What did you mean “forgotten”?
That’s a normal system build a thousand times.

First you should update your MultiPlus to the last FW 552.

The screenshot looks good.
You have ~1000W PV, ~400W going into the battery, ~230W going to the loads at the AC OUT and ~340W going into the grid to compensate for the loads at L2 and L3.

The only thing that is strange is that there are no loads shown in the green “AC load” tile.

Please add some screenshots of the settings in the remote console.

@mbr89 It is an interesting first comment. I doubt it is true. The system will try to maintain your grid setpoint as set in the ESS menu. It must get the power from somewhere so will not charge batteries while the Grid setpoint is set where battery charging would make that setting false.
