Sun Inverter off and controls missing from VRM

Hi, I have a small off grid setup using a Sun inverter connected through VRM, and recently when we had a number of cloudy days I switched off the invertor through VRM, however, now the battery is fully charged up, I cannot control it anymore and it seems to have lost communications with the Cerbo GX. Is there anything besides driving 5 hoursup the road to fix this through a hard reset ?

I suspect not.. I have tried rebooting the Cerbo GX, already..

Fixed !!

By pure luck, Victron published a firmware update to the Inverter, I decided to push the button, it upgraded the firmware and reset the inverter which came back online. So it seems the ve.direct port was still functioning even though VRM viewed the inverter as offline / disconnected.

possibly a firmware bug or somnething. I wont switch the inverter off again, will use the lov voltage settings instead.
