SoC jumps when in between charge/discharge

Hi,

Has anyone seen the below happening on a battery and know what the solution is.

When it starts to charge it jumps from 73 to 90 %.

Your data is at 1 hour intervals so it is hard to say it jumped, you would need to look at data over a smaller range. Often when charging the batteries charge at a faster rate until they get close to full. Lead acid self regulate charging as they get fuller, with lithium the BMS can reduce charge rate for balancing.

Much more info needed, battery type and capacity, charging source and current/ power, where is the SOC coming from along with the charging period in finer detail.
