SoC Jumps to 100%

,

My RV trailer has been parked in the sun for a few days and cycling normally with one solar panel charging the battery by day and a small load (a fridge and an LED). Suddenly, today the SoC of the battery jumped from ~77% to 100%. My first thought was that the SmartShunt decided to calibrate to 100% but I thought it didn’t do that unless it was within the tail current. My solar charger is still in bulk mode and I’m still charging at 2-6A. Any idea why this would happen?
I had my battery at 100% just a couple of days before this, so it knows where the top is.

It looks like the SmartShunts “charged voltage” is set a bit low.

Have a read of this post. Battery monitor jumping to 100%

After changing the charge voltage, I haven’t seen any more SoC jumps. Hopefully, that fixed it.
