500A Smartshunt jumps in SoC extreme by itself

Hey

Setup:

  • 75/15 Solarcharger
  • 2 x 12,8V LiFePo4 Batteries in Series
  • Equalizer
  • 500A Smartshunt

A few days before, my Smartshunt raises the SoC at night by itself from 20% to 80% - from its own.

Because it was dark outside, its not possible.

My Automation looks for the SoC and started the Inverter - so the Batteries goes very low on voltage. But my own automation cutted the inverter, because of low voltage - so my batteries are not dead (i hope)

So whats happening?

Have a read of this FAQ to understand about setting the SmartShunt synchronisation feature.

Yeah, i know your post - but none of that fits to my system. i used the smartshunt for 2 years now, so i think there might be another problem.

i tested my batteries, there having the full capacity. my batteries where fully loaded at 28,8V - and then the SoC raises instantly.

today i fully charged my batteries again and reset the shunt. but i cant trust the soc anymore :frowning:
