VictronConnect automatically installed firmware v1.74 on a SmartSolar MPPT 150/35
on first connection. After that, saving settings to a .vsc file works, but loading
the same file back fails with:
“Error loading file: #7 File created for an unsupported firmware version,
update VictronConnect.”
Tested with:
- VictronConnect v6.32 (stable) on Windows
- VictronConnect v6.40 (beta) on Windows
A second identical SmartSolar MPPT 150/35 with firmware v1.68 saves and loads
.vsc files correctly with the same VictronConnect installation.
Since VictronConnect itself installed v1.74 automatically, it seems the app
installs a firmware version whose settings format it cannot parse back.
Can you confirm whether v1.74 is an officially released firmware, and when
support for it will be added to VictronConnect?
